Byron and Lahela Hatley of course! Byron and I met in 2004 at the Young Single Adult Ward in Eagle River, Alaska. I was teaching a class and he was my student. We started dating 4 days after he came home from his mission in Argentina and we've been together ever since. Byron and I were married in January of this year, and we have been learning a lot about marriage and more importantly about each other.
Byrons hobbies include: fishing, hunting, traveling, playing sports, watching football, sleeping, snowmachining, boating, watching movies not TV, going to AppleBees and being with friends and family. He has been working at Dowl Engineers/Alaska Test Lab for as long as I've known him. His dream is to one day go sailing on a 32' sailboat.
As for me, well...my hobbies change from time to time. One year I like to draw and the next year I don't. But for the most part my hobbies include: songwriting, playing the piano, traveling with Byron, painting, drawing, playing board games, decorating the house, watching TV, snuggling into as many soft blankets as I can possibly find, going to work and being successful with my accomplishments, learning as much as I can, and being with family especially my Mom. I work as a Bookkeeper/Payroll for a company in Wasilla, Alaska but will be leaving that job as soon as Byron and I move into Anchorage on December 1st. My dream is to sell my songs that I've been writing so that Byron and I don't have to work anymore and perhaps be able to go sailing!
