Marlin Memorial Day

Byron took the boat out by himself to go Marlin Fishing before flying over to Oahu to meet me. Here is a partial look at our boat with the center rigger in the way.

The Marlin spit the head back at Byron and took off swimming.  I swear these Marlin are not stupid at all.  Once they feel you tug on the line, they shoot out of the water and turn their head to see who you are.  After spotting your boat, they speed swim toward your boat and dive deep then they turn their stomach out to spit your hook back at you.

At least the Marlin was nice enough to give us our hook back.  (And yes, that bait fish was alive when Byron was trolling for Marlin)
