Gotta Love The Animals

So while Byron was walking through the river to find some work equipment that was lost, he found a new friend!

His new pet water-turtle that he named: Boludo. It's a Hispanic way of saying, "Dude". Isn't he cute?

Byron collected this poor little guy 10' above the rushing river water. He didn't want him to die so he brought him home and made a friend. Byron made a little tub for him and put some rocks and plants inside of it (he took the same rocks and plants where he found Boludo). He filled half the tub with water (deep enough for the little guy to swim), and the other half was kept dry. Byron made a little rock cave for Boludo, and it seems Boludo really likes his cave because he always crawls under it after he swims or after he eats. He only crawls on the top of the rocks when he wants to. Byron of course goes out everyday to catch flies, worms, and other insects to feed Boludo. Byron thinks Boludo likes flies the best because Boludo can devour a whole fly within seconds.

Byron gets to work around a lot of animals over in Mexico. Cows always block the roads, or they sit inside of the tunnels and make it difficult for the workers to get to their job sites.

Donkeys are another nuisance since they wonder around freely where ever they want to go. But since I've always wanted to see a donkey, Byron was nice enough to take a picture with one for me.
