Hatley's on Politics

Byron and I have always enjoyed talking about politics in our dating years and continue to voice our opinions with each other now that we're married. Of course we don't always agree with each other and thats fine with us. It gives us a good laugh and we love and cherish each others opinions.

This 2008 Presidential Election is HUGE! We are enjoying this election out of all of the previous elections because we are observing millions of U.S. Citizens of all different backgrounds come out and voice their opinions on our candidates. We have heard our friends who don't exercise their right to vote, finally say, "I am definitely voting this year!" We see people excited about these candidates and this is definitely history in the making.

Byron and I will continue to listen to each candidate as they speak on issues that are important and are meaningful to us. We hope and pray that all of our friends and family will vote this year. I hope we vote for what we believe to be the best future for ourselves, children, grandchildren and continued posterity. I hope we will all take a moment to get to know Obama, Biden and their spouses, as well as McCain, Palin and their spouses. Also, review the issues and direction that both Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin will be taking our Country toward and into.
